The Borgward B611 Transporter is based on the Borgward B611, which was developed in the late 1950s. It served as a practical van variant. Designed as a transporter, the B611 was primarily used in the commercial sector. Typical applications included delivery services, tradespeople, and goods transport in urban and regional areas. Thanks to its generous cargo space and robust construction, it was suitable for transporting furniture, tools, goods, and other merchandise, and was frequently used by small businesses, postal and parcel services, as well as serving as the basis for commercial vehicle fleets.
