You can also order almost all locomotives and train sets in our delivery program in DCC or Selectrix Digital. Since both locomotives and decoders are always sufficiently in stock, the conversion time is usually less than 2 working days.
The new eight-fold Doehler & Haass brake module enables cost-effective generation of asymmetrical digital voltages. For each track section it is possible to set separately whether the asymmetry is to be generated for braking or for slow running. Since the asymmetry is only generated when the track signal is also evaluated by the decoder, there is no brightness difference in the illumination during the entry into or the exit from the brake section.
Setting options With the DIP switches on the brake module, it is possible to set separately for each track section whether asymmetry should be generated for braking or slow motion. Further settings on the brake module are not required. In vehicle decoders from Doehler & Haass, operation with asymmetry in the braking section is activated by CV27 / bit 0 and / or bit 1. The maximum speed at slow speed is set in CV123. A costly braking distance can be achieved by using the functionality of the "braking ramp" through CV154 or CV155. For complete information, please refer to the decoder instructions, which you can download from our website. For competitor vehicle decoders, please consult their documentation on how to activate asymmetric operation in the braking section. The brake module has been designed for use with the digital formats DCC and SX1 as well as SX2. Please note that we can not guarantee that it will function properly in conjunction with other formats (such as MM) and / or vehicle decoders of competitors!
