From today's point of view, this is not exactly exhilarating, but it was a great novelty for the time. The rubber bulldog replaced two teams in continuous operation and was therefore much cheaper in its running costs. The advantages of the Bulldog such as: simplicity of construction, simplicity of operation, constant operational readiness and high operational reliability were used as sales arguments - arguments that corresponded to reality. The Bulldog was not only used for driving, but also as a driving force for machines in industry, trade and agriculture. It was mainly used in sawmills, timber shops, brickworks, coal shops, freight forwarders, breweries, construction companies and much more. The fuel consumption was 11/2 - 2 kg per hour, depending on the quality of the fuel, lubricating oil consumption was approx. 100 g per hour, the operational readiness within 2 - 3 minutes under full load.
