PC-Rail for Windows CD version

PC-Rail is a graphics program for planning model railway layouts: easy to use, intelligently structured and extremely precise. A complete model railway layout appears on the screen in a very short time. With everything that goes with it: Tracks, signals, buildings, landscapes, etc. Tracks are shown with sleepers true to the original. Landscapes, accessories, etc. can be colored. The most important program features:

Features:
Track planning in up to 8 levels, which can be displayed in different colors and edited separately. An assistant simplifies the drawing of the base plate.

Insert, copy, rotate and delete tracks and accessories. In the case of rails with several connection points (e.g. points), the connection points can be exchanged. Flex tracks can be bent and their length can be changed.

The "Close" function automatically connects two track ends with matching rails. The most suitable splints are automatically selected by the program. Track gaps can also be closed with flex tracks.

Any combination of tracks (station tracks, track harps, etc.) can be saved and inserted into track plans. Individual tracks or track combinations can be moved, rotated and attached to other track segments.

Any track and accessory elements (such as buildings, lake or landscape parts, etc.) can be designed with the track and accessory editor. Assistants support the creation of new base plates, straight tracks, curves, buffer stops, points, double points, curved points, crossings, transfer tables and turntables.

Clearance profile: Symbolically, trains can run over the tracks. It can be checked whether, for example, the overhangs of wagons touch platforms or buildings in curves.

The tracks can be displayed either as a single line, double line or realistically with sleepers. An information window provides information about the installed track length and system size. Parts lists can be printed or exported to other programs for further processing.

Versatile print output with automatic scaling of the track plan to the available paper size. Alternatively, any scale (up to a scale of 1:1) can be specified, with PC-RAIL then printing the corresponding number of individual sheets. All standard Windows printers (including color printers) are supported.
