The development team implemented the distinctive shape of the prototype in outstanding quality in the model and at the same time achieved ideal driving characteristics. These attributes are underlined by the effective use of perfect engravings and a coating that is consistent down to the smallest detail. Modern LED technology serves as the basis for the light change in red / white as well as the light functions that can be switched by retrofitting a digital decoder. The digital interface Next18 according to NEM 662 is state-of-the-art, a decoder can easily be plugged in. The vehicle's buffer beam can be completed prototypically with the supplied accessories.

The Tatra trams, built by the Czech manufacturer CKD in Prague since the 1960s, are based on a license from the American PCC cars from the 1930s. However, the T3 series model was too wide for the networks in the former GDR. This resulted in a narrower version as “T4” and the addition “D” for Dresden. Originally only Tatra railcars with drives and pantographs were produced in Prague. Because of the poor power supply at the time, the required three-car units could not be formed. Until 1971, a sidecar without a drive was designed especially for the GDR, which was coupled with one or two railcars under the name “B4”. By 1984, Dresden had received a total of 572 Tatra “T4D” railcars and 250 “B4D” sidecars. Another 1986 cars went to Leipzig, Halle and Magdeburg. After the fall of the Wall, part of the Dresden Tatra fleet was modernized and painted in the Dresden city colors of yellow and black. With the arrival of modern low-floor railways in Dresden, the Tatras were gradually phased out from the mid-1990s. Some were sold to North Korea, Romania and former Soviet states, and worn-out vehicles were scrapped. Redesigned several times, the yellow Dresden Tatra cars were still in service sporadically until spring 2023. The Leipzig transport company had been using the Tatra tram for a long time. As an exhibitor at the Modell Hobby Spiel in Leipzig, we were able to personally enjoy these trips. A striking design that still exists on modern trams today. The railcars are currently still in use and support regular rail traffic. In the future, the existing Tatra trams will remain in stock as a reserve. However, since there is no end to the use of this tram in sight, you can continue to enjoy this special tram model as a passenger.
