For the InterCity traffic (IC 71) planned from 1971, series production of the 103 series began in 1969, but with new specifications: the trailer loads of TEE and IC trains at 200 km/h increased from 300 to 480 t and 800 t heavy express trains should still be able to be transported at 160 km/h. For the 145 series locomotives - now referred to as the 103.1 series - this led to a whopping increase in output of 25.3% compared to the prototypes - a total of an impressive 7,440 kW or 10,116 hp. After their delivery between 1970 and 1974, the 103.1 immediately took over the new IC trains and of course the prestigious TEE, some of which had now even been integrated into the new IC network. Only after more than thirty years of use in heavy, high-quality passenger train service with maximum mileage did the series locomotives perform their last scheduled service in December 2002.

Recommended screw locking adhesive to firmly glue the micromotor shafts, screws and motors.

Prevents unintentional screw loosening and vibration loosening. Cures quickly and reliably. Can be used on oiled surfaces. Seals screws and prevents leaks. Has good chemical resistance. With a wide temperature range from -60 ° C to +150 ° C.

Apply evenly to bolts or nuts. Curing takes place in the absence of air (anaerobic). A distinction must be made between active and passive materials in terms of curing time. In the case of active materials, one speaks of metals with a high iron or copper content (e.g. iron, steel, copper, brass, bronze). Active materials ensure rapid curing. In the case of passive materials such as high-alloy (stainless) steel, zinc, aluminum or plastics, the hardening takes place very slowly.
