Regiojet (proper spelling RegioJet, RJ or RGJ for short) is a private railway company in the Czech Republic based in Brno. It is a subsidiary of Student Agency in cooperation with Keolis. The company also offers long-distance bus travel and is also represented in Germany on the Berlin – Dresden – Prague route. On December 10, 2017, long-distance traffic was expanded to include the Vienna – Brno – Prague route, with Regiojet now also offering connections in Austria.
The model of the legendary E-Lok BR E16 impresses with a harmonious livery and printing as well as precise case engraving and an exact detail of the striking Buchli drives. In addition, the PIKO BR 116 has fine spoke wheel sets, which contribute to the model's authentic overall impression with its filigree roof equipment, pantographs and extra attached handle bars. The locomotive has excellent running characteristics and high tractive forces for faithful train compositions. The model is equipped with a modern Next18 interface and shows the usual light change red / white. The PIKO model exactly matches its model in form, color and printing.
The PIKO model of the 1100 series of the Dutch State Railways NS in the scale 1: 160 convinces with a successful mold construction with coherent roof curves and many attached parts, such as fine insulators and pantographs, free-standing handle bars and stairs. The model has the right lamp shape, sharply engraved bogie trims with realistic replicas of the spring packs and miniatures of the buffer beams that are true to the original. The front and tail lights, which depend on the direction of travel, are designed using LED technology. The model has a digitally switchable machine room lighting after retrofitting a decoder. The Piko motor ensures excellent driving characteristics and high tractive forces. The model has a tidy board with Next18 interface and is equipped for easy retrofitting of a decoder. The locomotive is without traction tires, but there are 2 axles with traction tires which can be individually assembled if required.
The PIKO model of the 2400 series of the NS impresses with the finest engravings on the housing and the meticulous implementation of its prototype with exact engravings on the locomotive housing and the bogies. The railings that are very characteristic of this series are elaborately etched metal parts. The model is characterized by excellent driving characteristics and has a precisely manufactured die-cast frame, a strong motor with a flywheel and lighting by LEDs with light change white / red. The model is prepared for digital operation.
