The Modellbahn Union Scharfenberg couplers for N-gauge offer the possibility to retrofit vehicles with and without NEM coupler holder. The couplers are fully functional and compatible with almost every vehicle due to three different lengths.
The set contains 6 couplers in three different lengths: 6mm, 8mm and 11mm, each measured from the mounting point in the NEM shaft to the end of the coupler. Due to the different lengths, the right combination can be found for every application. In addition, there are two short-coupling mechanism kits included, which can be built under vehicles without a NEM mount.
The couplings are connected by simply pushing them together and separated again by pulling. The flexible plastic ensures high durability. German and English instructions are enclosed with the couplings.

The machines, known under the artificial name "Sybic", are used throughout France in front of all types of trains. Loading and unloading with forklifts is possible from a ramp as well as from level ground. The trolley is particularly suitable for transporting paper rolls, cellulose, sawn timber, wood and fiber boards as well as palletized goods. To secure the load of lying paper rolls, the wagons are equipped with 24 pieces of metal quick-locking wedges, which are stored in storage compartments in each front wall when not in use. The base consists of solebars, head pieces and four closed boxes that connect the two solebars. In the head area, the floor was made of corrugated plate.

In 1927, the DRG ordered a total of 38 E17 locomotives for the medium-duty express train service. They were the first express train locomotives with the 1D1 wheel arrangement. The locomotives were intended for use in southern Germany and central Germany and were assigned to the DBs Munich and Leipzig. While the E17-101, 106 and E17-112 were delivered directly to the BW Leipzig, the locomotives E17-107 to 111 only came to Munich in the spring and summer of 1929. Probably to be available there for the special trains as part of the Oberammergau Passion Play. In December 1929 they were then transferred to Leipzig.
From 1933 they were used by the BW Stuttgart and Ulm. The E17-113 / E17-120 were intended for use in the Silesian network. Five of them came to the Wroclaw BW. After the Second World War, 26 locomotives were still in use at the Deutsche Bundesbahn and two at the Deutsche Reichsbahn Ost.
