A blocking signal indicates whether a subsequent track section may be used. It applies to train and shunting trips. Form blocking signals are shown in the signal patterns Sh 0 and Sh 1. Blocking signals can be placed low or high, depending on the intended use and available space. If the blocking signal is used as a target signal for train journeys, it must be set up.
In addition to the LED for the lighting, the signal kit also contains a servo with bracket (46x62mm). This can be attached directly under the tracks or under the system. The plug foot is 40mm long. The Bandvagn 206 (Bv206) is a floating multi-purpose vehicle with a chain drive from the Swedish company Hägglunds, which belongs to the British defense group BAE Systems. It was developed as an all terrain vehicle with amphibious properties for difficult, boggy, icy and mountainous terrain and consists of two articulated units with four crawler tracks. It can carry up to 17 people - 6 in the front and 11 in the rear compartment. The rear part of the car can also be used to transport materials. The name Bandvagn stands for the Swedish words band for chain and Vagn for wagon. It has been built over 11,700 times so far and is used worldwide (source: Wikipedia)

The BR Standard Class 9F was developed by Robert Riddles as a heavy freight locomotive intended to maintain high speeds over longer distances. A total of 251 9Fs were built in Crewe and Swindon between 1954 and 1960. The last steam locomotive BR built was a 9F. She was christened the Evening Star and given the Brunswick Green livery normally reserved for Express passenger locos. The 9F was considered very successful and was even used for passenger services in some parts of the country. During her relatively short service, attempts were made to further improve the design, for example with Franco-Crosti boilers and preheaters. On the whole these attempts were not considered very successful, the only exception being the later addition of a double chimney to the design, which was fitted to all locos from 1957 onwards and which was retrofitted to some older locos. Several 9Fs survive, including the Evening Star, which is in the NRM in York.
