Model based on the north portal of the Kaiser Wilhelm tunnel in Cochem on the Moselle. The Kaiser Wilhelm Tunnel (also called the Cochem Tunnel) is a railway tunnel on the Moselle route between Ediger-Eller and Cochem. The western tube (so-called AKWT = old Kaiser Wilhelm tunnel) is 4,205 meters long and was Germany's longest railway tunnel through a natural obstacle until 1988. It was built from 1874 to 1877. Like other outstanding buildings, it was named after the German Kaiser Wilhelm I. Our model is lavishly engraved and, in addition to the name plate, also contains the coat of arms on the portal. The eagle that stands on the portal in reality is not included in the model.

Series 515 battery powered rail car with a control car of the German Federal Railroad.
Completely new construction! ¦ Finely detailed model in red paint ¦ A clear view through the passenger compartment ¦ With separately attached plug-in parts ¦ 1st class compartment with six seats in the motor vehicle ¦ Headlights and interior lighting can be switched using DIP switches ¦ Z21 driver's cab available Operation with battery-powered railcars was introduced in Germany before the First World War. The two-part battery-powered railcar of the "Wittfeld" type, whose batteries were housed in the distinctive front end, was in use until after the Second World War. After 1945 the German Federal Railroad began to deal with this type of drive again. The ETA 176 has made a name for itself as the “Limburg cigar”, but only eight of them were built. From 1953, the cheaper ETA 150, which had roughly the same performance characteristics, was put into service in large numbers. A total of 232 units of the ETA 150 (from 1968 series 515) were built up to 1965. In addition, 216 type ESA 150 control cars (later 815 series) were put into operation. |

Steam locomotive series 23 of the Deutsche Bundesbahn.
Update! True to the original paintwork and lettering. Installed windows. Movable Heusinger control. Brake pads between the wheels. Die-cast metal chassis. ¦ Prototypical light and sound functions can be controlled using the onboard decoder ¦ For the first time with sound ¦ In Era III version The BR 023 was a real universal genius. It carried local, express and express trains. Occasionally you could even see them in the freight train service. The new Bundesbahn locomotive series 023 (until 1968: BR 23) was still active in Era IV. On December 31, 1971, 76 machines were in the maintenance inventory and, without exception, stationed in three depots (Saarbrücken, Kaiserslautern and Crailsheim). The modern BR 23 “survived” the Prussian P 8 - it was intended to replace it - by only one year. It developed 1314 kW (1785 PS), weighed 131.8 t and drove forward 110 km / h or tender 85 km / h ahead. After the official decommissioning in December 1975, 8 copies have been preserved for posterity in associations and museums, some of them usable. |
