A steam excavator is an excavator powered by a steam engine. Steam excavators were built in the middle of the 19th century. They were the first powerful construction machines for earthmoving; It was through their use that many large construction projects of the industrialization era, such as the construction of canals, railway lines, open-cast mines and large industrial plants, were made possible. Steam excavators had their heyday at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. Our excavator is based on a model from the 1920s and was in use until the early 1970s.
Steam excavators were available in various designs, both in terms of the method of locomotion and the construction of the grave vessels: Due to the great weight, steam excavators were usually designed as rail vehicles (similar to a rail slewing crane) for movement. If the construction site was away from the fixed railway lines, which was usually the case, the tracks were laid "on the fly" especially for the excavator. Constructions on chains or wheels were less common. The steam excavator or steam crane is an unpainted Finescale kit and comes complete with metal axles and buffers. The highly detailed, unpainted model was produced using the 3D printing process and can be processed and painted with commercially available tools and colors (e.g. with Revell Email or Revell Aqua Color). The model won the Golden Track 2021 in the TT / N / Z accessories category in the readers' choice of the MODELLEISENBAHNER and MIBA magazines. |

Steam locomotive class 50 of the DB (Deutschen Bundesbahn), epoch III.
Special: with cabin tender In true to the original livery and lettering. In-plane applied windows. Furnished driver's cab. Unobstructed view between boiler and chassis true to the original. Fully moveable Heusinger control. Brake shoes between the wheels. Metal die-cast chassis. Motor with flywheel. Drive on 8 wheels in the tender, four of them have traction tyres. Triple headlights on both ends of the locomotive. Locomotive-tender-close coupling. Automatic couplers on both ends of the locomotive. The variants of the Class 50 seem to be countless. The variant with four domes, running metal boards and skirt, Witte smoke deflectors and cab tender is particularly interesting. Typical for the epoch III locomotive is the partially aluminum-coloured lettering with DB-emblem.Until 1962, almost 800 Swiss tenders of the Class 50 (050) were fitted with a driver‘s cab to save cabooses. The cabin was placed in the middle of the tender, so the water box was extended to the rear beyond the buffer beams. Locomotive has no NEM plug, but we offer this loco also with decoder for DCC or Selectrix. We solder in the decoder manually. Of course 2 years warranty on loco and decoder are included. |

Electric locomotive class 1293 "Vectron" of the Austrian Federal Railways ÖBB, Epoch VI.
New Design 2018 ! Electric locomotive with integrated load-sensing digital decoder and true to the original sound from factory. Model with 4 pantographs. Reflecting side windows. Model in true to the original livery and lettering. Metal die-cast chassis. 5-pole motor with flywheel. Drive on four axles and two traction tyres. Coupler pocket according to NEM 355 standards and close coupler motion link. Prototype: The Siemens Vectron is based on experience gained from the building of around 1900 locomotives of the so-called Eurosprinter family. At the beginning of the 2000ies, Siemens presented the Taurus as a true success story of the international rail transport. A few years later the Vectron followed and was presented as a new milestone in the Siemens locomotive history. The outstanding aerodynamic design, the particularly good crash safety as well as great flexibility characterize the Vectron. The advantage for the customers of the Vectron lies in the countless possibilities of the execution of its technical characteristics. A modular construction system ensures that the most diverse requirements of the respective railway companies can be met. Thus, locomotives are available for various current systems, speeds or train control/command systems. This makes the locomotive also particularly attractive for the larger locomotive rental companies such as the Railpool, the MRCE or the ELL. National railways as well have already implemented the Vectron successfully and are running goods trains from the north to the south. On their routes the trains pass different power systems and various control/command systems. The Vectron does not require any additional locomotive changes. The company Siemens AG Austria won the ÖBB competition with the locomotives of the Vectron family. Up to 200 locomotives in three different construction types can be called up by the ÖBB in the coming years for freight transport operations. |

2-piece set silo wagons type Uacns 932 of the Swiss company Holcim/Wascosa.
- The silo wagons feature many separately applied plug-in parts that are partially perforated - Perfectly matches block trains For decades silo wagons and pocket wagons which transport truck trailers are a familiar sight on the rails of Europe. Today, silo wagons are also used from various private companies and customers. In the years between 2005 and 2013, the Swiss company Josef Meyer from Rheinfelden built several silo wagons of the series Uacns 932. Most of these wagons are used in blocktrains. The big advantage of this wagon is, that the loading and unloading of goods is very easy. The wagons often leave directly from the producer's factory to bring the goods to various destinations. The Uacns932 differs in design in small details depending on the customers specific requests. Some variants have ladders and gangways, others do not. Altogether, the four-axle tank wagons cover around 70.000 liters and have a load limit of 70 tonnes. They can reach a top speed of 120 km / h. |

As ICE 4 and BR 412 called the German railway, the new generation of high-speed trains Intercity Express (ICE) for long-distance passenger transport. Siemens Mobility / Bombardier was commissioned in 2011 with the development and construction of 137 trains for the time being. Since December 2018, 19 twelve-car trains have been in operation throughout Germany, and the remaining trains are expected to be operational by December 2020. A total of up to 300 new ICE will be purchased. The trains are intended as trainsets for passenger traffic. They are powered by several independently driven cars, so-called Powercars, which are distributed over the train.
The new ICE trains are made up of five types of wagons: end cars, powered midcar (Powercar), non-powered middle cars, dining cars and service cars. The trains can also be used coupled in double traction. The exterior design of the trains was awarded the Red Dot Design Award in 2015. The first series of 130 multiple units comprises 45 dividers and 85 twelve-dividers. A registration for Austria and Switzerland is planned. A later approval for France, Luxembourg, Italy, Poland and the Czech Republic is planned as an option. |

Hobbytrain 3 pieces CIWL Set 1 Vienna-Nice-Cannes-Express, Ep.I - N gauge
WNC Express Set 1: 1x new baggage car 2x sleeping cars The Vienna-Nice-Cannes-Express was a luxury train operated by the Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits. From 1896 to 1939 it operated between Vienna and the French-Italian Riviera, in some cases already from Saint Petersburg. Because of his popularity with the Russian and Habsburg aristocracy, he was given the nickname "Train des GrandDucs" before 1914. The CIWL first introduced the train in winter 1896/97 in order to satisfy the demand of the European upper class, whose most important holiday destination in winter was the Riviera, outside of France and Great Britain. Like all the luxury trains of the CIWL at that time, the Vienna-Nice-Cannes-Express consisted exclusively of sleeping cars, dining cars and luggage cars. Until 1914 these were the usual CIWL teak wagons. In the model, the complete 6-part train is realized with two brand new 4-axle luggage, three sleeping and one dining car. The destination signs of the sleeping cars are authentically different. The sleeping and dining cars have interior lighting and numerous details and attachments both inside and out. License notice: Models of the CIWL wagons are manufactured to the highest standard under license and with the approval of Wagons Lits Diffusion France. Model Features: - Ep.I - very detailed chassis and roof structures - finest printing - multicolored interior in sleeping and dining cars - including interior lighting in sleeping and dining cars - LüP: 3-axle carriage 77 mm / 4-axle carriage 125 mm |
