The cars are loaded with hot slab hoods and have different company numbers than the vehicles in set 845512. Models with coupling seat according to NEM 355 with KK kinematics. In cooperation with the company Artitec Prototype: Krupp had rolling mills in Bochum and blast furnaces in Duisburg-Rheinhausen. In order to be able to roll the slabs from Rheinhausen directly in Bochum, the slabs were transported red-hot. For this purpose, existing heavy goods vehicles were equipped with a thermal hood. This saved Bochum time and energy for heating the slabs again. The trains consisted of 2? 6 wagons, often with an additional torpedo pan. The wagons did not run on normal freight trains and were mostly pulled by BR 044 steam locomotives. |

When open, access to half the loading area is possible from both sides. Loading and unloading with forklifts is thus possible both from a ramp and from flat ground. The trolley is particularly suitable for the transport of paper rolls, cellulose, sawn wood, wood and fibreboard as well as palletized goods. To secure the load of horizontal paper rolls, the trolleys are equipped with 24 pieces of metal quick-release wedges, which are stored in storage compartments in each end wall when not in use.
