Since drive and control cars can be coupled to one another via a current-conducting, short-coupling kinematics, two additional (and thus four) axles can be used for safe current collection in applications with control cars. The railcar has a digital interface PluX16 to NEM 658. The lighting functions of both vehicles are separately switchable.
