Micro Set is a very versatile decal setting solution that does several things to Microscale Decals to improve application. Micro Set should be applied to the surface of the model where you will be sliding the decal off the paper backing. Micro Set prepares the surface with special wetting agents that cut the oils in new paint and converts the adhesive on the back of the decal to a stronger and longer lasting one. In addition, Micro Set slightly softens the decal film to make it more flexible so that it will conform better to the model's surface. Better adhesion of the decal to the model prevents tiny air bubbles from forming and results in an invisible carrier film for the so-called "painted on look." To apply Micro Set: Use a soft flat artist's brush and apply Micro Set where you are going to apply the decal. Then slide the decal off the backing paper using a small pointed tip synthetic bristle brush to carefully position the decal in its proper position. Blot the decal carefully with a tissue or paper toweling, being careful not to disturb its position. Allow the decal to dry overnight. It will then be ready for a protective coat of Micro Coat Flat, Satin or Gloss.

Mirco Sol setting solution is for the most difficult irregular surfaces to be found on models. It completely softens the Microscale Decal, allowing it to drape down onto the surface of the model, comforming perfectly to surface irregularities without distortion. The most amazing results in seemingly impossible places are possible because Micro Sol actually makes the decal part of the painted surface. For that reason you should coat Micro Sol on for only a few seconds and then leave it alone. It does the work. Do not touch until the decal has dried, as the decal is very soft at this stage and could be easily damaged. For the best results, first apply Micro Sol to prepare the surface and enhance the adhesive. Make sure the surface is free of particles that could get under the decal's film and cause a blemish. Then, when everything is dry enough that the decal will not move easily, apply Micro Sol with a small flat brush. Apply with as few strokes as possible so a not to disturb the decal. Then allow the decal to dry without disturbing it. One application is enough in most cases, but if necessary, a second application of Micro Sol can be helpful.

Micro Kristal Klear is the insider tip in model making - no other product achieves such a big difference in the appearance of your models.
Micro Kristal Klear is a liquid, pack size 28 grams, that you can use to create very realistic looking small windows up to about 6mm in size and it can also be used to attach clear plastic parts. The advantages of Micro Kristal Klear is that clear parts can be attached to painted parts without a visible splice and the color shows through at the joints giving a very realistic look. - quick and easy to apply and becomes absolutely clear - Water soluble before drying and waterproof afterwards - during drying it loses its milky white color and becomes clear In addition, Micro Kristal Klear is the solution for a super strong and flexible bond for wood, plastic, paper or most other combinations. Tip for making small windows: To make small windows, dip a toothpick into the thick liquid and draw a line all over the edges. Then hold the toothpick as flat as possible to the opening, then pull it across the opening from one side to the other side. Thus you form a bubble which forms a very thin, true to scale, rigid and flexible window. The drying takes about 15 minutes and becomes noticeably clearer. The model should stand still while it is drying so that the sensitive membrane does not tear. In our blog you will find an interesting video about how Micro Kristal Klear works ! |

There's always something going on on the farm!
sound scenes With the sound scenes, you can turn your model railway into something really special. Due to the compact design of the electronics and the loudspeakers, the sound is created where it comes from in the original. The ready-to-connect electronics can be installed in churches, for example, or placed directly in the building next to the street musicians. You'll be surprised how realistic a sound sounds when it's in the middle of the action. The "On the farm" scene provides even more reality on your model landscape. The woman in the white t-shirt and skirt carries a basket in her hand. The elderly lady in a gray top and blue skirt is sitting on a bench. Another woman wearing a gray skirt and green jacket is feeding the three white geese. The lining is in her blue apron. The elderly gentleman in blue pants and a gray shirt is holding a scythe and leaning forward to mow the grass. Another man, wearing yellow boots and a sweater and trousers of different shades of blue, is holding a shovel. The boy is wearing a green T-shirt and brown trousers and is enjoying the exciting time on the farm. Typical farm noises such as cows mooing, birds chirping, sheep blocking and chickens cackling can be heard to match the scene. The connection is made via a standard 16 V model railway transformer. The sound has a length of about 20 seconds. The item is also suitable for direct and alternating current. To connect the sound module to a power source, connect the black cable directly to one of the two luminous flux outputs on the transformer. The red cable is connected to the other luminous flux output. Now the sound is continuous. If desired, you can also make the sound switchable. A switch or control panel (not included) can be used for this. Simply break the circuit on the red wire with this on and off switch. Note: The volume of the sound cannot be adjusted. If you find the noise too loud, you can order a resistor for retrofitting. |
Yours sincerely
Daniel Mrugalski
