It is used where there is insufficient space to place signals alongside the tracks. The model bridge is based on the typical steel bridges that were common in the last century. The bridge is designed for a track spacing of approximately 33 mm. With a little model-making skill, other track spacings can easily be achieved.

Set with 2 signal clamps. A signal tension mechanism keeps the wire pull cables used to remotely position the signals under even tension so that changes in length due to temperature fluctuations are compensated for. The tensioning mechanism is designed in such a way that if the control line breaks, the falling tensioning weights pull the signal drive against an end stop into the Hp 0 Halt! position, or the most restrictive position available, and hold it there. This ensures that a train is not mistakenly shown a journey term and thus e.g. B. Entry into a section of track occupied by another train is permitted.

A signal cable tensioner is used to ensure an even tension of the cables leading from signal box to semaphore signal, thus levelling out fluctuations in the length of the cables due to temperature changes. The system is constructed in such a way that if a cable breaks the semaphore signal automatically falls into Stop position. This way a train will not enter a block occupied by another train in case of a broken cable.

This highly detailed 3D printed set is made from grey resin and comes unpainted. The parts can be painted with the usual hobby paints such as Revell Enamel or Revell Aqua Color.

A blocking signal indicates whether a subsequent track section may be used. It applies to train and shunting trips. Form blocking signals are shown in the signal patterns Sh 0 and Sh 1. Blocking signals can be placed low or high, depending on the intended use and available space. If the blocking signal is used as a target signal for train journeys, it must be set up.

In addition to the LED for the lighting, the signal kit also contains a servo with bracket (46x62mm). This can be attached directly under the tracks or under the system. The plug foot is 40mm long. The servo can be connected to any commercially available controller. We recommend the ESU SwitchPilot Servo 3, item no. ESU_51832.

The BÜ signal (type 1958) has two signal levels. The lower light is orange and always on. The upper one is white and flashes when the level crossing is safe and the train is allowed to continue. In the prototype this signal is set up on both sides of the railroad crossing.
