Tatra tram type T4-B4 Prototype information: The past of the Tatra tram goes back to the GDR era. The previous versions were designed by the Czechoslovakian manufacturer CKD Tatra in what was then the GDR, tested in Prague and then used in the major cities of Dresden, Leipzig, Halle and Magdeburg. After reunification, these trams were even used abroad such as North Korea, Romania and Russia. A total of 2,635 T4 vehicles were built between 1968 and 1987. The majority of production took place in Dresden and Leipzig.
The Leipzig transport company had been using the Tatra tram for a long time. As an exhibitor at the Modell Hobby Spiel in Leipzig, we were able to personally enjoy these trips. A striking design that still exists on modern trams today. The railcars are currently still in use and support regular rail traffic. In the future, the existing Tatra trams will remain in stock as a reserve. However, since there is no end to the use of this tram in sight, you can continue to enjoy this special tram model as a passenger.

NOCH Easy-Track track construction kit "Albulabahn" N

The base area of the "Albulabahn" of at least 200 x 100 cm offers fans of N gauge in 1:160 scale plenty of space to create a railway circuit with crossing train traffic. The well thought-out track plan offers the possibility of building a shadow station or a double-track bypass. A pull-out track is provided in the freight station. This small detail takes the model railway fun to a whole new level, because the locomotive of an incoming train can be switched from front to back and pull the wagons out of the freight station again - just like in the original!

The very large station area is based on the track layout of the "Bergün" station in Switzerland. With the separately available "Bergün" station, "Bergün" locomotive shed and "Brombenz viaduct" kits, particularly distinctive points of the Albula railway can be perfectly recreated in the model.

We have shown you the construction of the system step by step in text and images in the NOCH Easy-Track "Albulabahn" guide. A guide is included with each kit, but it can also be ordered separately here in the online shop before starting the construction project.

The track kit is not suitable for driving with a raised pantograph and without a contact wire. Raised pantographs must be caught and compressed at the track crossings due to the clearance height. This is the only way to achieve the low percentage gradients.

Track cleaning has never been easier! The ingenious invention for cleaning model railway tracks are the cleaning gnomes in N gauge (scale 1: 160).

And it's so easy to use:
- The cleaning dwarfs consist of a robust plastic body with a brush-like cleaning surface that effectively removes the dirt on the rails.
- The dwarfs are simply clipped onto the axles of a wagon - and then they clean the rails in normal driving mode in both directions, as it were!
- The cleaning dwarfs in N can be used for two-axle wagons of all brands (axle diameter max. 1.4 mm).
- The cleaning dwarf should only be replaced when the cleaning surface is heavily soiled.
