Electric locomotive Re 475 425 of the Swiss railway company BLS Cargo.
- For the first time in the new “Alpinist” design
- Finely detailed model with four pantographs
- Use in international freight transport
- Model with digital decoder and digitally switchable sound and light functions
- Swiss light change and high beam switchable
In 2019, BLS Cargo decided to increase its existing Vectron fleet of around 15 locomotives by 25 machines. In addition to the country packages for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and the Netherlands, the new locomotives now also include Belgium. The main difference between the locomotives visually is the new design on the sides. The design moves a little closer to their slogan “The Alpinists” and shows mountaineers at lofty heights in the impressive Swiss mountains. We dedicate the chosen company number Re 475 425 to the Re 425 fleet, which was replaced by the new Vectron locomotives and thus sends a real Swiss woman into retirement.

The switch for your tram!
The track, specially developed for tram operations in the city, has a double track spacing of 25 mm and a radius of 180 mm. By using different types of extension tracks and stop platforms, the tram track can be easily extended to create cities with even more depth and variety. In combination with the Starter Set and the TV1 UNITRAM Basic Set (#7040811), the system can be easily expanded.
There are also switch track plates with double track that branch off to the left or right. The electric switches with integrated switch drive ensure a clean appearance and simple track construction. The adjusting screw controls the flow of current on the track, so it is easy to set selectively or non-selectively according to the track plan. As a non-selective type, it can also be used as a spring point.
Note: When connecting to KATO power supplies, switch switches and switch extension cables should be used. When connecting to non-KATO power supplies, switch adapters should be used in addition to switch switches and switch extension cables.
