Model of the year 2024
1st place in the N gauge accessories category – Mine theme
As with Le Rail d’Or, the French counterpart of the Golden Track, our “Colliery” theme impressed local model railway enthusiasts and we were able to achieve first place in the Model of the Year vote in the accessories category for N scale.
Our major colliery project is experiencing continuous development as demand for our products meets the expectations of a model of the year. A significant part of this success is certainly due to the fact that model makers have the freedom to design individual projects according to their ideas. We have already developed several products that you can order flexibly depending on your needs. The main set includes the hanging bench with conveyor tower (item no. i00066), although the conveyor tower (item no. i00067) is also available separately, as is the expansion set for motorizing the conveyor tower. In addition, the appropriate nacelle for the winding tower can be added. Some may already have a similar building or have limited space, so order it if necessary using the item number. i00070 after.
Due to its success, we have already implemented further thematically relevant projects in connection with the mine. The mine fan (item no. i00075) and the boiler hall were the first two new projects. Interested parties even have the option of ordering a matching interior for the boiler hall (item no. i00077) to round off the building. Further innovations such as the water tower (i00079) will follow.

Category locomotives gauge N
Union Pacific's Kato Big Boy. The steam locomotive is currently available from the factory in analogue and with sound.
Hiroshi Kato and Jumpei Kikukawa were there in person during Intermodellbau to personally accept the award from editor Andreas Bauer-Portner.
In the passenger car category, Piko was able to impress with the IC 79 cars. Jens Beyer accepted the award as sales manager that evening.

In the digital technology category, Märklin / Minitrix probably struck a chord with readers with the WLAN Mobile Station and was able to convince readers with the WLAN expansion and other changes.
Even if it is the wrong gauge, we would still like to proudly announce that with our Pwghs 54 in H0 we were able to convince the readership to vote this freight wagon the best in its class. Heiko Stoll proudly accepted the award. Because the freight car is currently also available in N gauge. We don't want to leave the win unmentioned.
