Beschriftungsvariante Speisewagen WRümh 152 von Minitrix
Schon seit über 90 Jahren sind die roten Speisewagen ein Hingucker auf den Modellbahn-Anlagen. Bereits 1935 hatte Märklin in seinem Sortiment einen roten MITROPA-Speisewagen, damals wie üblich aus Blech in Spur H0 gefertigt. Auch nach dem Krieg gab es rote Speisewagen, die jedoch einem Vorbild nachempfunden wurden. 1952 brachte Märklin seine Schürzenwagen Serie heraus, dann mit einem roten DSG-Speisewagen und einem blauen ISG- Schlafwagen, neben grünen und blauen Sitzwagen, die alle mit der damaligen 2. Kl. beschriftet waren.
Nach 1963 folgten die N-Hersteller alle dieser alten Tradition: Den Anfang machte der Pionier der N-Bahn: Es gab grüne Sitzwagen und einen roten Speisewagen. Diese Modelle waren leider noch stark verkürzt (122 mm). Etwas längere Wagen (132 mm) brachte 1965 Minitrix heraus und der gleich lange Speisewagen war leider vorbildfrei.
